Hello Again,

So the second singles event for US selections gets underway tomorrow morning. Please check out the LIVE FEED on URTUR.COM > LIVE

I guess there was some complications with the live stream yesterday, but they told us that everything should be up and running more effectively tomorrow. The organizing committee did ask that if you are watching the live stream and live scoring, please do not refresh your page too often. I guess the data running through the program was too much on Wednesday, so the entire site crashed.

Anyways, here are the start orders:

16. Kylie Sivell (Alberta)
17. Clare Lambert (Alberta)
24. Morgan Hunter (Alberta)

Hi Everyone

Yesterday was day 1 here at US Selections in Winter Park, CO. The team is skiing in good weather on a 26 degree, 210m course. With a Field size of 57 women and 77 men the level of competition here is extremely high. The first day of competition brought mixed results for Team West with some good skiing, from the majority of the team but all agree that potentials were not reached and I predict improvements for everyone moving into singles event #2 and Duels. Mike Henitiuk was the top team athlete finishing with a 10th place finish over and 3rd among Canadians after two impressive runs. Morgan Hunter was the top female finishing in 26th place and improving her personal best score by multiple points. Please visit the following link for full event results http://urtur.com/results/ and wish us luck as we compete once again tomorrow. Thank you all for your continued support.

Hi Everyone,
The Canada West Mogul team is just finishing our second camp at Apex mountain. Apex has gone above and beyond for freestyle skiing this season preparing Kristy’s Run (World Cup Mogul Course) for early season training. Our last few weeks have been filled with high volume on snow training coupled with daily dryland training sessions. The athletes have been responding very well and will be ready departure to US Selections on the 13th. The coaching staff, Myself, Elisa Kurylowicz and Andrew Clough have settled in and are working well together and the success of the program is clear in the athlete improvements. US Selections is our first event of the year held in Winter Park CO. Selections is a Nor-Am level event in which the best from Canada and the US will square off head to head. Wish us luck as we travel and compete. Best wishes over the holiday season from the Canadian Western Mogul Team coaches and athletes.
